HER MAJESTIC RISE

Known for her ethereal vocals matched with a fusion of jazz, pop, and classical influences, Laufey rose to fame in the 2020s for her jazz-inspired tracks. At the age of 15, she was a cello soloist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and made appearances on Ísland Got Talent & The Voice of Iceland, finishing as a finalist and semi-finalist respectively. Graduating from the Berklee College of Music, she remained passionate for the craft. In 2022, she released her debut LP “Everything I Know About Love,” which hit #6 in Iceland and #3 among US Jazz Albums. From then on, her hit “Valentine” became a fan-favorite track that introduced them to her soulful & emotional delivery.

Her sophomore LP “Bewitched” marked Laufey’s global domination, charting #1 in Iceland and in several other countries while she also marked her first entry at #18 on the US Billboard 200. Her hit single off of the record, “From the Start,” was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA. More and more people soon found her soulful gems. Winning her first Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, the record kicked off her continued domination in the jazz-pop scene. 

Her latest symphony tour takes the same name of her just-released “A Night at the Symphony: Hollywood Bowl” concert film. Capturing her headlining performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, 18,000 people in attendance were enchanted by the classical renditions of her emotive pieces. 

“To be able to bring that concert to people way beyond L.A. and the Hollywood Bowl is so meaningful to me, especially as I come from so many different parts of the world, which have all played a part in inspiring my work and artistic journey,” Laufey shared.
