The phenomenal talent of blues musician Joe Bonamassa has seen him perform with some of the greatest musicians the world has ever known. Now, with his 3 Kings Tour, he pays homage to blues legends Albert, B.B. and Freddie King in a musical tribute like no other. Bonamassa brings his tour to Blossom Music Center on Friday 14th August, in what will be a night of truly spine-tingling, heart wrenching blues.
Virtuoso guitarist Joe Bonamassa has his roots deep in the belly of blues music. A child prodigy, he started his path as a guitarist at the tender age of 4. By age 12 he was playing gigs all over Pennsylvania and New York with “Rosie”, a crimson 1972 Fender Stratocaster gifted to him by his father. It was during this time that the young sensation was asked to open 20 shows for blues legend BB King, and by the time he reached adulthood, he had already shared a stage with many of his heroes and musical influences. Now 37, Bonamassa has had a successful career, with all 5 of his solo studio albums reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Blues Chart, and 3 of them making No. 1, as well as his collaborative work with Beth Hart, SeaSaw, earning him a Grammy Award nomination in 2013.
