The Dave Matthews Band's "On The Road To Zero Waste" program, which is a collaboration with Live, will see the introduction of additional sustainability measures with the summer tour. With a lengthy history of minimizing its environmental impact, Dave Matthews Band was named a 2019 UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador. In an effort to reduce the concert's environmental impact even more this summer, the band is teaming up with Live Nation-run venues to divert at least 90% of fan-generated rubbish from landfills. Live Nation will help the concerts achieve their objective by utilizing its top-notch sustainability capabilities, which include zero waste green teams, zero waste stations, food donations, waste sorting, composting, and minimum usage of single-use plastic. As the tour dates approach, fans are urged to visit the websites of the venues for further information. With DMB's ongoing collaboration with The Nature Conservancy's Plant a Billion Trees program this year, five million trees have been planted overall since the two organizations partnered.
