Us here at The Blossom Music Center are so excited to invite everyone to the amphitheater for Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Want To Have Fun Farewell Tour. On July 30th, catch the gals on the big stage as they say goodbye for one last time! The tour has been extensive and has spanned a year already, and with twenty five more dates added across North America this summer, the shows are guaranteed to be once in a lifetime events for all who attend.

Cydni Lauper is a household name and is no stranger to the limelight. With a career spanning five decades and with multiple Grammys and platinum tracks in her discography, there isn’t much for Cyndi to do except put on a farewell tour, to be honest. She has released twelve albums since her debut EP She’s So Unusual, which had four hits on top of the Billboard 100 - Time After Time, She Bop, All Through The Night, and of course, Girls Just Want To Have Fun. She has been recognized as one of the greatest artists of all time by MTV and Rolling Stone, and has won Emmys and Tony awards, too. She is synonymous with 80s pop music, and her run of side projects have been performed at a level rarely seen in the mainstream these days. 

Speaking on her final run of shows, Cydni recently said to Rolling Stone  “Oh gosh, it’s a bucket list. I haven’t done an arena tour since ‘86. I’m excited because I get to have all these fantastic young women on tour with me. So many years, I was told I can’t do a women’s tour because nobody will go see it. “Women don’t sell like men sell.” Then I toured with Cher and we played for a million people. So bs,”.
