About his new album, Urban tells Billboard that he initially had something else planned in his mind, but things turned south and we ended up with this beautiful new album. “I attempted to make a very different record, and that didn’t pan out, so I scrapped it and followed my muse and ended up with this album,”

Recently receiving a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Urban shines through with new music that marks his most diverse set of songs in one album — across his entire career. On his eleventh album now, he’s found a balance to make things work. “The balance that most of my albums have had is a mix of introverted, gravitas moments and musicianship, and then just complete loosey-goose, mindless fun,” he told Billboard.
